Traditional braces are a better choice if there are large spaces between some of your teeth or if you might have a hard time wearing clear braces for enough hours every day.

New types of traditional braces offer you the chance to choose colored or nearly clear components. Also, some new types of braces don’t require as many visits for adjustments as earlier braces did.
